Programs
Asahi Juku Chuto Kyoiku Gakko offers a range of special programs for its students. The Global Course is for students interested in languages, culture, and the globalized world; it prepares students to attend the highest universities in the world. The Medical Course prepares students for medical school in Japan, and the Advanced Course prepares students for the particular requirements of high level universities in Japan.
Global Course
The Global Course strives to create students capable of the critical and creative thinking necessary to compete in a globalized world. Japanese students study intensive English and foreign students study intensive Japanese. The Global Issues classes focus on global problems such as poverty, climate change, and inequality.
Medical Course
The medical course focuses on preparing students for medical schools in Japan. There is a strong focus on science, especially life sciences. With an aging population, health care is a critical issue in Japan, and this program strives to meet this challenge.
Advanced Course
The Advanced Course is an intensive program that prepares students for the academic achievements needed to attend the highest universities in Japan. If your goal is to accepted to the University of Tokyo University, Keio University, or Kyoto University, this program will prepare you. But be prepared to work for it!

Student Life
Despite our rigorous focus on academic achievement and intellectual growth, our students still find time to expand their interests through extracurricular activities, sports, and trips. For students who want to fully partake of our school, the dormitory is also an option. The best part about our clubs and activities is if you want to try something new, ask a teacher! They will help you set it up.
Extracurricular Activities

Our school has a variety of clubs including music, art, cooking, and dance.

Sports

Our school has a variety of sports as well. On sunny afternoons, you will see our students playing baseball and soccer on the grass. We also have clubs for basketball, tennis, badminton, and swimming.

Trips

We believe that not all education comes from the classroom. Therefore, we often have weekend activities. Our foreign students and Japanese students go together on day trips to places like Kurashiki, or bowling, or hiking just about every month.

During vacations, the International Exchange Department also helps students plan trips to explore Japan.

Dormitory

For students who truly want to experience the diversity of our school, the dormitory is a great option. By living on campus, you are in a safe environment in which you can focus on your studies as much as you want. With evening and morning study times, it is a great support for academic achievement. There are also study options for the weekends as well.

On the other hand, the dorm is also a great place to make new friends. With a population that is about half Japanese and half foreign, it is a great chance to make friends from other countries, and practice your English or your Japanese!

Admission
In Japan, school begins in April. The application processes for high school and middle school usually begin in December with decisions being made in February or March.

While you are not required to have perfect Japanese or English to attend our school, there are language requirements. Participation in the Global Course at the high school level requires at least an intermediate level of English. And participation in the regular Japanese classes requires JLPT N2.

However, we offer both intensive Japanese language classes and intensive English classes to help students meet the requisite level before they start regular classes.
